With the new patch for Version 0.3.0, Pin has been renamed into Pin I and divided into 3 levels with increasing effects.

How Does Pin Work?

Consecutive Physical Damage Builds Pin

The Pin Support Gem, to properly apply the "Pinned" status on enemies, you must consistently deal a significant amount of Physical damage to quickly build up its meter. While you may technically slot this Support Gem with skills like Eye of Winter and Raging Spirits, they will barely increase the Pin meter.

The best skills to use Pin with are Physical-oriented skills that can hit consecutively, such as Bonestorm and High Velocity Rounds. While its support is minuscule, it can be an alternative source of Frenzy Charges for Physical builds when paired with Combat Frenzy.
