The Intelligence stat of a character will determine a character's total mana as well as their Energy Shield. Increasing this stat is ideal for spellcasters as the increase in mana as well as the additional layer of defense from the Energy Shield benefit their character.

Players can view their Intelligence stat, as well as other important stats and attributes, from the character screen.

How to Increase Intelligence

Equip Items with Intelligence Modifiers

Players can increase their Intelligence stat by equipping items that have +X to Intelligence. In addition to weapons and gear, items in your Jewelry slot work particularly well with Intelligence as this is where you usually get the ideal +X to Intelligence.

Choose Passive Skills That Boost Intelligence

Another way players can increase this stat is by selecting passives on the skill tree that increase Intelligence. Do note that there will be passives that can also have other bonuses on top of the additional Intelligence stat.
