There's only one way to get to Shark Island and that's by going on a Mystery Island Tour during the Summer over and over again until you get the right island.
There's a bunch of island types you can get in a Mystery Island Tour, one of them is the Shark Island which will spawn nothing but sharks since that's all you'll be able to catch!

To fly to a mystery island, you need to redeem 2,000 Nook Miles or trade online for a Nook Miles Ticket. So stock up on your NMTs!
Upgrade your pocket space first to be able to carry 40 items before you go fishing for sharks. Don't forget to empty your pockets before going on Mystery Island Tours!
How to Increase Inventory Space
If you happen to get Shark Island try to avoid filling your pockets with the Suckerfish and Hammerhead Shark as these 2 have the lowest selling price of the bunch.
Only bring back Sharks that sell for at least 10000 Bell to make the most out of the trip and your NMTs!
If you're planning to make money out of your Sharks, save them for CJ when he drops by your town! CJ will buy any fish at double the value than what it sells for at Nook's Cranny.
If you can't find CJ on regular days, wait for the next Fishing Tourney to sell your rare Sharks.
Sharks are some of the rarest and most expensive fish available in the game, so getting to Shark Island is a great way to earn bells and complete your Critterpedia!
The Hammerhead Shark has the lowest selling price of 8000 Bells and the Great White Shark with the highest selling price of 15000 Bells, Shark Island's starting to sound like a gold mine.
