How to Use amiibos in Happy Home Paradise
Apart from inviting your villagers to the Archipelago, you can also call prospective clients using amiibo Cards!

1. Contact a Villager in the Paradise Planning Office
Head to the Paradise Planning Office and use the amiibo reader on Lottie's desk. It appears to function similarly to your island's Nook Stop Terminal.
2. Scan the amiibo on Your Nintendo Switch
Scan the amiibo card or figure on the NFC touchpoint of your Nintendo Switch to call the character!
3. Scan Complete!
Once scanned, you'll get in touch with your prospective client who is pleased to hear that you're offering to build them their vacation home!
How to Get amiibo Scanner
Design 7 Vacation Homes and the School
After designing seven unique vacation homes and the School, Lottie will set up the amiibo Scanner in the Paradise Planner office desk. From there, you can scan your amiibo Cards and design the vacation houses of the clients of your choosing!
Happy Home Paradise (HHP) DLC Guide
Invite Special Characters and Sanrio Villagers
You can also invite Special Characters and Sanrio Villagers to set them up with their dream vacation home provided that you have their amiibo cards! Additionally, designing their vacation homes count to your progress as a Paradise Planner designer!
While Regular Villagers and Sanrio Villagers are available clients as soon as the amiibo scanner is available, you need to be a Famous Designer before you can take Special Characters as clients. They're also referred to as VIP clients by Lottie.
