How to Scan amiibo in Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Use the Nook Stop Terminal
You can scan an amiibo from the Nook Stop terminal in Resident Services.
| ① |  Go to the Nook Stop terminal located inside the Resident Services and use it to invite an amiibo camper. |

| ② |  Tap the amiibo on your right stick. This works for both the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. |
| * |  For the Controller Pro 2, tap the amiibo on the center logo area. |
| ③ | After confirming the camper, check your Campsite and invite the camper to your island. |

Tulin or Mineru Will Appear at Campsite
After scanning an amiibo from The Legend of Zelda series, either Tulin or Mineru will appear in your campsite.
You can also invite them to permanently reside in your island, just like any other non-amiibo campers. They will take up a villager slot if you have a free one or replace a resident.

Collaboration Items Are Automatically Added After Scanning amiibo
Special collaboration decorative items and outfits for The Legend of Zelda or Splatoon will automatically unlock in Nook Shopping after scanning their respective amiibo. This can be any amiibo as long as they are from the collaborated series.
