How to Unlock Harriet's Hair Salon (Shampoodle)

1. Visit Harv's Island

After receiving the letter from Harv, head to the airport and visit his island. Search for Harv in the new area with the wooden gate.

2. Construct One Shop in Harv's Plaza

After the cutscene, you can start donating Bells to the Gyroids to construct the shops. You need to donate at least 100,000 Bells to construct one shop.

3. Talk to Harriet the Day After

Once the building is complete, head to the plaza to find Harriet and her makeshift salon. Talk to her and Harriet will give you a hair cut once per day.

Note that if you do not like the hairstyle, you can select "Oh no..." for Harriet to revert your hairstyle back. Doing so still unlocks the new hairstyle that she had provided.

Salon closes down after unlocking all hairstyles

After unlocking all seven hairstyles, Harriet will remove her salon and start to roam around the plaza.

The October 15th Direct also teased 11 new Hairstyles for residents. 7 of these new hairstyles will be taught by Harriet at her salon.
