What Happens When You Faint?

When you faint, your character falls and the screen goes black.

Respawn Outside Your Home

No matter where you faint on your island, you will always respawn by the doorstep of your home.

On a Mystery Island Tour, You will Respawn by the Dock

If you are on a Mystery Island Tour, you will simply wake up by the dock in front of Wilbur.

All Items are Intact

Do not worry, when you wake up, all of your items will still be with you. What happens when you faint is simply just falling and waking up to another place.

How Can You Faint in Animal Crossing: New Horizons?

Dangerous creatures lurk around especially at night, and if you get stung or bitten by them, you will pass out.

When You Get Stung by Wasps

If you've been stung by a wasp and haven't recovered yet, which can be indicated by the puffed-up eye, the next time you get stung by wasps, you will faint.

So you better fix yourself up before you go shaking trees again.
