After the 16th Vacation Home, a resident will come inside of Paradise Planning's offices and request a roommate. You will be tasked with helping find a roommate for the resident and then redecorating the home to make it more roommates-friendly!
Beginners’ Guide to Happy Home Paradise DLC

First, visit an existing resident either by talking to Niko at the pier or by visiting the Happy Home Network application on your NookPhone and visiting them through there!
How to Use the Happy Home Network App
When you're in their homes, talk to the resident and choose the option “How's your home?”
After asking them about their home, choose the option “Let's talk roommates.”
After agreeing to your offer, you'll be tasked with finding a roommate for them. Roam around the island to find them their perfect roommate!
After talking to your candidate, you'll be asked to redecorate the vacation home for two people! Let your design skills sparkle forth and give them a house to love!
