You can complete DIY item requests to get Hotel Tickets in Animal Crossing: New Horizons (ACNH). Read on to learn more about how to complete requests, tips on completing requests, and how to unlock the feature.

How to Unlock DIY Requests

Unlock the Hotel

You will need to unlock the Hotel to be able to send out DIY goods. When you exit the hotel after your first visit, Tom Nook has set up a shipping bin in front of the building. This is where you can fulfill DIY requests in exchange for Hotel Tickets.

How to Complete DIY Requests

Ship DIY Items Through The Hotel Shipping Bin

Submitting Special Island Goods

Interacting with the shipping bin in front of the hotel will give you four DIY requests that you can choose to fulfill. Craft the request at a DIY workbench then submit it to the shipping bin to get Hotel Tickets.

Once you have fulfilled one request, a new request will take its place. This can be done at any time of day and there is no limit to how many times you can ship goods. Remember that you can also use the bulk craft to fulfill requests that ask for multiple items.

Tips For Completing DIY Requests

Place Workbench and Kitchenette Next To The Bin

To make it easier to ship goods, place your workbench and kitchenette next to the shipping bin. This will make it easier to deliver items.

Check The DIY Requests In Your Craft Menu

DIY Requests on Craft Menu
While crafting, you can tab to the DIY Requests category to check out the requests of the day. This way, you can easily check which requests you can craft at any workbench.

How to Get DIY Crafting Recipes

DIY Requests Refresh on Mondays

Submit Items with Multipliers
Multipliers will appear on the rewards of the first four items requests of every Monday. It is best to target the DIY requests with a highlighted multiplier next to the reward, since they give extra Hotel Tickets, so make sure to complete them before the following week.
