How to Pay Off Your Loan and Upgrade Your House

| 2. | Ask Tom Nook to upgrade your house. The house will be completed on the following day. |
| 3. | Pay back the loan using the ABD (Automatic Bell Dispenser) at Nook Stop |
How to Upgrade Your Tent to a House
The initial loan for moving to the island requires the player to pay back the loan in Miles to Tom Nook directly. For this loan, you won't need to use the ABD.

Pay Off Loans through the ABD
You can send loan payments using the Automatic Bell Dispenser (ABD), found in the Nook Stop inside Resident Services.
Once you have fully paid your loan, you can talk to Tom Nook for a house expansion/house upgrade.
