No man is an island, so invite them to yours! Learn how to add and invite friends in Animal Crossing: New Horizons (ACNH) for the Nintendo Switch! You'll be able to chat with them via the NookPhone and make them Best Friends to play around the island!

How to Add Friends via Dodo Code

Steps Directions
1 Go to the airport to generate a Dodo Code.
2 Share the Dodo Code with your friends.
3 After playing, go to your Switch's HOME page and access your profile.
4 Select for users you've played with.

After generating the Dodo Code, share it to your friends and start playing in Multiplayer!

3. Go to your Switch's HOME page and access your profile

When you're done playing, go to your Switch's HOME page. Click on your profile by selecting your user profile in the top left corner.

4. Search for users you've played with

Scroll down to the Add Friend section. There should be an option to "Search for Users You Played With". Choose this option to add the friend you've recently interacted with!

How to Add Friends via Friend Code

To add friends in your Animal Crossing: New Horizons game, you'll first have to add them to your Nintendo Switch profile!

2 Go to the Add Friend section and add a friend!

Select the icon of your page on the top left corner to access your Switch profile.
