1. Raise your Island Star Rating to at least 3 stars
To get Lily of the Valley, you first need to raise your Island Star Rating to at least 3 stars. You have a higher chance of getting these flowers with a higher rating.

Our team has verified that Lily of the Valley flowers will start to bloom on your island within 3 to 7 days after your island earns a 5 star rating.

Where do Lily of the Valley Flowers Bloom?
Blooms on the Southern Edges of Cliffs
On the south edges of your cliffs, leave an empty, 2x3 space for each Lily of the Valley flower to potentially bloom.
Is Lily of the Valley Breeding Possible?
While you can water Lilies of the Valley and get them to sparkle, it's impossible to breed any more, unfortunately!
There are also no seeds for Lily of the Valley flowers to buy from Nook's Cranny or from Leif, even if you have a 5 star rating.
How to Get More Lily of the Valley Flowers
Maintain Your Island's Star Rating
Lily of the Valley flowers will stop blooming if your island's star rating falls below 3 stars.
If you notice that Lily of the Valley flowers aren't blooming anymore, talk to Isabelle at Resident Services to check your star rating!
How to Raise Your Island Star Rating
Max 1 Lily of the Valley Bloom per Day
Only one Lily of the Valley flower can bloom per day. On top of that, Lily of the Valley flowers do not bloom every day. They only have a chance to do so!
However, our team found that there's probably no limit to how many Lily of the Valley flowers you can have in your island. You just have to be patient!

1. Create cliffs big enough for Lily of the Valley
We recommend creating cliffs specifically for growing Lily of the Valley flowers.
Placing fences, items or other flowers on the southern edges of all other cliffs will prevent Lily of the Valley flowers from growing there, which means you only have to check your new cliffs for blooms every day.
2. Time travel and check for flowers
It's important to time travel to the future only one day at a time, as you may have to rid your cliff of weeds and check that your island rating stays at 5 stars.
Skipping multiple days at a time does not increase the spawn rate of Lily of the Valley flowers.
What to Do with Lily of the Valley Flowers
Create a Lily of the Valley Garden
You can only use Lily of the Valley flowers for planting, but they are rare and a sign that your island is thriving; perfect for showing off!
You won't be able to collect their blooms in a vase, but you will be able to dig them with a shovel for replanting.
No Crossbreeding and No Hybrids
Lily of the Valley flowers cannot be crossbred. This means that a Lily of the Valley flowerbed will not bloom more of the same nor additional hybrids.
Will Never Wilt or Disappear
Result after lowering island's star rating, by allowing weeds to grow and removing decorations.
Even if your island's star rating goes down, the Lily of the Valley flowers you have will never die or disappear. Once you're satisfied with your Lily of the Valley garden, you won't have to maintain your island star rating!
Sell at Nook's Cranny
You can sell the Lily of the Valley for 222 bells at Nook's Cranny if you're not a big fan of flowers and you wanna save some storage space instead.
Types of Lily of the Valley Flowers
Only White Lily of the Valley Exists
Only white Lily of the Valley exists. They cannot be crossbred to bloom color variations.
