How to Unlock the HHP Café
Build the comfiest café in the Happy Home Paradise DLC Pack for Animal Crossing: New Horizons (ACNH) using the skills you learned as a Paradise Planning employee! Learn how to unlock the Café, what you can do with it, and more with our guide below!
How to Unlock the HHP Café

1. Complete 12 Vacation Homes
Continue progressing the story until you have completed 12 vacation homes for your clients.
2. Talk to Lottie to Work on the Café
After completing 12 vacation homes, talk to Lottie to go to work. She will mention that she has obtained permission to build another facility in the island.
You have the option to choose between a restaurant or a café. Choose "Let's make the café!".
3. Build the Café
Once you are inside the restaurant, you are required to place the following furniture to complete the facility:

After placing all the required furniture in the Café, talk to Lottie to finish designing the facility.
Take the celebratory photo
After completing the restaurant, you will take a photo of the Paradise Planning team and the facility members! Press the ZR button to have everyone pose and then press the Plus (+) button to take the photo!
How to Expand the HHP Café

1. Obtain the “Superstar Designer” Job Title
Continue completing vacation homes for villagers until you reach the rank of Superstar Designer.
2. Talk to Lottie to Work on the Gallery
After obtaining the Superstar Designer job title, talk to Lottie in the Paradise Planning office. Select "Let's talk about facilities" and choose "The café".
Select the new "Expand it." option to build the gallery.
3. Build the Gallery
Once you are inside the café, head up to the stairs on your left to reach the gallery room. Unlike other facilities, there are no required furniture to complete the gallery, so feel free to design it based on your liking!
Talk to Lottie after decorating the room to finish expanding the café.
Optional: Take the celebratory photo
Once you have completed the Gallery, you have the option to take the celebratory photo or choose to go back to the Paradise Planning office.
What You Can Do
Buy Food and Drinks
You can talk to one of the facility members to order food and drinks from the menu using Poki. The menu items change once per day, so be sure to stop by at the Café and order some food every day!
Remodel the HHP Café
If you want to change the exterior and interior of the restaurant once it's built, talk to Lottie inside the Paradise Planning office and choose "Let's talk about facilities".
Remodeling the restaurant gives you Poki for your hard work!
Invite the Facility Members for a Dance
If DJ KK is present on the island, you can talk to one of the facility members to invite them for a dance! Doing this allows you to view all the photos of the vacation homes you made.
