The Version 2.0 update will include The Roost, a new cafe found on the second floor of the Museum. The cafe will open upon fulfilling a certain request from Blathers.
How to Unlock Brewster's Cafe (The Roost)
・Drink coffee ・Residents will sometimes visit the cafe ・Use amiibos to call specific characters ・Visit the cafe together with online friends |
Brewster makes his first appearance in New Horizons as the master of The Roost cafe. Players can drink Brewster's recommended coffee for the price of 200 Bells.
Island residents like Isabelle will sometimes show up at the cafe.
A phone in the cafe will allow you to use an amiibo card. With amiibos, you can call specific residents to come enjoy a spot of tea with you.
Multiple players can visit The Roost together to share a cup of coffee and a good time.
Kapp'n appears to take the player on a round trip to a mysterious island for only 1000 Nook Miles! These islands can be starkly different from the player's main island, containing new vegetation such as vines, and even being in a different season or time of day.

Harv's Island will be updated with a new plaza featuring a host of new shops. Harv's friend Harriet also joins the fun with other returning characters who run shops in the plaza.

With the release of the Series 5 amiibo cards, new residents will be added to the game alongside amiibo cards of the previous eight new villagers introduced in Animal Crossing: New Horizons!

By examining a tape deck in front of Resident Services, the player can start a Group Stretching activity with other residents! You can also join friends in a Group Stretch by joining in on their island or having them come to your island.
This type of “radio gymnastics” is a popular morning activity in Japan!
Ordinances can be put into place to determine the activity times of the residents on the island. For players who often play at a certain time of day and want to get the most out of it, this feature allows them to interact with their residents as much as possible.
You can have up to 10 bridges and inclines on your island! Just run over to Tom Nook counter at Resident Services!
A new Nook Phone app is available to help guide us through our island life with more than decent tips!
