If you go an entire month or longer without loading your ACNH save file, your character will have a serious case of bedhead the next time they wake up.

Unless you're extremely concerned about your character's style, this has no other negative effect, so you don't need to worry about it. (In fact, we think it looks pretty cool!)

This hairstyle is all too common for those who Time Travel, so if you have ever loaded your game after skipping ahead and find yourself sporting a messy hairstyle, now you know why.
