The top 5 most expensive bugs in the game are mostly beetles and they're also among the most difficult to catch!
It's best to hold on to these and sell them for double the price when Flick visits your island!
While these bugs are the most profitable, there are some that are easier to catch that can sell for a relatively good price!
Complete List of Bug Sell Prices

In order to catch bugs, you will first need to craft or buy a net. After equipping the net and finding a bug, hold the A button to ready your net and creep forward, then release the A button once you are close to catch it.
Bugs are found in various different locations, and you'll have to adjust your technique in order to catch each different type!
List of Nets

Be careful when running through fields of flowers, or whenever you pass by trees and tree stumps. Bugs love hanging out around plants which makes them harder to spot!
I have every bug in animal crossing except the flea.
