How to Unlock the Hospital

Feeling a bit under the weather? Don't fret! You can build your very own Hospital in the Happy Home Paradise DLC Pack for Animal Crossing: New Horizons (ACNH) using the skills you learned as a Paradise Planning employee!

Read on to learn how to unlock the Hospital, what you can do with it, and more with our guide below!

How to Unlock the Hospital

1	Complete 25 vacation homes.
2	Talk to Lottie to work on the hospital.
3	Build the hospital.

1. Complete 25 Vacation Homes

Continue progressing the story until you have completed 25 vacation homes for your clients.

2. Talk to Lottie to Work on the Hospital

After completing 25 vacation homes, talk to Lottie to go to work. She will mention that she has obtained permission to build the hospital.

3. Build the Hospital

Once you are inside the hospital, you are required to place the following furniture to complete the facility:

Waiting Room Required Furniture
Counter x1	Chair x4	-
Examination Room Required Furniture
Doctor's Desk x1	Doctor's Chair x1	Patient's Chair x1

After placing all the required furniture in the Waiting Room and Examination Room, talk to Lottie to finish designing the hospital.

Take the celebratory photo

After completing the hospital, you will take a photo of the Paradise Planning team and the facility members! Press the ZR button to have everyone pose and then press the Plus (+) button to take the photo!

How to Expand the Hospital

1	Donate 120,000 Poki after building the hospital.
2	Talk to Lottie the day after.
3	Build the patient ward.

1. Donate 120,000 Poki after Building the Hospital

After building the hospital, talk to the receptionist at the Waiting Room and select "Can I donate?". Donate 120,000 Poki to expand the hospital.

2. Talk to Lottie the Day After

Talk to Lottie the day after you donated Poki to the hospital to start expanding the facility. Select "Let's talk about facilities" and choose "The hospital".

Select the new "Expand it." option to build the patient ward.

3. Build the Patient Ward

Once you have arrived at the hospital, head upstairs to enter the Patient Ward. Place the following furniture to complete the new room:

Patient Ward Required Furniture
Bed x3

After placing all the required furniture in the School, talk to Lottie to finish expanding the hospital.

Optional: Take the celebratory photo

Once you have completed the Patient Ward, you have the option to take the celebratory photo or choose to go back to the Paradise Planning office.

What You Can Do

Obtain hospital-themed clothing Donate to build a patient ward Remodel the hospital Invite the facility members for a dance

Obtain Hospital-themed Clothing

You can obtain hospital-themed clothing such as the Eye Gauze by going to the doctor. Talk to the receptionist at the Waiting Room to see the doctor.

Once you are in the Examination Room, talk to the doctor to receive the clothing. Note that you can only see the doctor once per day.

Donate to Build a Patient Ward

Poki Required	120,000 Poki

You can also donate to the hospital to build a patient ward. Once you have donated the full amount required, you need to wait one day or time travel to talk to Lottie to design the patient ward.

How to Get Poki

Remodel the Hospital

If you want to change the exterior and interior of the hospital once it's built, talk to Lottie inside the Paradise Planning office and choose "Let's talk about facilities".

Remodeling the hospital gives you Poki for your hard work!

Invite the Facility Members for a Dance

If DJ KK is present on the island, you can talk to one of the facility members to invite them for a dance! Doing this allows you to view all the photos of the vacation homes you made.
