The biggest fall event this October is Halloween! The event itself will be held October 31, from 5 PM to Midnight. That is the time Jack the Halloween Czar will visit and you can get special rewards, so make sure to prepare.
On the night of Halloween, a special visitor will be on your island. Give Jack some Candy and Lollipop, and you will get spooky items in return!
The long expected gardening and farming update is finally arriving in Animal Crossing: New Horizons (ACNH). Take care of your Pumpkins, and use them for spooky DIY items!
Don Halloween costumes with villagers to give and receive Candy! You can also get Spooky furniture and recipes, and even new Reactions when you go trick-or-treating!
On this update, 4 skin colors (or paint) will be unlocked, along with 4 new eye colors; perfect for the creepy Halloween look!
An update to the NookLink app allows you to perform Reactions in-game! Learn more about NookLink in our guide!

Once the update hits, Luna will keep a record of the last 50 Dream addresses you have visited, and you will even be able to save your favorites for quick, inspirational visits!

The next update, which seems to include both the Thanksgiving and Christmas events, will be available late November!

Select Software Update from the left tab.
You can update your game Via the Internet or you can Match Version with Local Users.

Maintenance | How to Fix an Error
Check if your Switch is connected to the internet.
You can check your internet status by going to the System Settings from the Home screen, and selecting Internet on the left tab.
If the problem persists, you can try restarting your Switch or your router.
With the Animal Crossing: New Horizons game selected on the Home screen, press the + button on your Switch to view the game data.
Select Software Information from the left tab. You can go to the Nintendo eShop to see if your game is up-to-date.

Anyone else’s money tree disappear with the update? I found 1,000 bells in a star-shaped hole, but the hole didn’t glow so I couldn’t bury 10,000 for a money tree. I also noticed that excess bells are now in 10,000 bell increments, taking up more space in your pockets.
