Kapp'n will be waiting on his boat next to your island's pier, giving the empty dock a new purpose. Before you can ride his boat tour, you will need to pay Kapp'n 1,000 Nook Miles.
Each time you ride his boat, you will be brought to a random uninhabited island. Most of these uninhabited islands are similar to mystery islands, but some may have a different time of day or season from your island.

You can ride the Boat Tour once per day at any time by visiting Kapp'n at the pier. If you can't access him, make sure that your game is updated to Version 2.0 or later.
To unlock Kapp'n, you need to have reached 3 stars and have K.K. hold a concert on your island.
