How to Create a Flowerbed Design

This is a flowerbed design where you can plant flowers inside. With this design, you will need 2 horizontal, 2 vertical, and 4 corner patterns; a total of 8 custom design slots required for this design.

Steps to Create a Flowerbed

Horizontal and Vertical Bricks

Using red, draw 2 bricks that are 8 spaces tall.
Using the Fill Tool, make the rest of the canvas transparent.
Fill the bricks with orange.
Frame the inner edges with yellow.
Change red to the darkest color.
Hue: 13th from the right
Vividness: 5th from the right
Brightness: 4th from the right
Change orange to the mid-color.
Hue: 13th from the right
Vividness: 5th from the left
Brightness: 1st from the right
Change yellow to the main color. The first tile is complete.
Hue: 13th from the right
Vividness: 8th from the right
Brightness: 1st from the right
Duplicate the design. We will edit this to make the second tile.
Use the Move Design tool to move the design to the top. The second tile is complete.
10 Using the same method above, create the first vertical tile. The third tile is complete.
Duplicate the pattern, and move the design to the other side. The fourth tile is complete.

Corner Bricks

To make a corner brick, draw a 4x4 L-shape at the corner.
Complete the tile. This will be 8x8 spaces.
Make sure the rest of the canvas is transparent.
Fill in the corner brick with orange.
Frame the inner edges with yellow.
Change the colors as specified above. The fifth tile is complete.
You can duplicate the design, and repeat the steps in another corner. The sixth tile is complete.
Do the lower-right piece. The seventh tile is complete.
Make the last corner, and the last tile is complete!

How to Change Colors on a Palette

1 In the tools section, select Change Color.
2 Select a color with the L and R button and adjust the sliders as needed.

This tile design has a natural look, and works well with grass and bricks. Place some hedges over it for a classy finish.

This design only takes up 2 custom design slots, as you only need 1 horizontal and 1 vertical piece.
