How to Get Carrots
From Leif's Garden Shop
You can buy Carrot Starts from Leif all year round for the price of 280 Bells! Catch the sloth at the plaza in front of Resident Services or at Harv's Plaza!

From Kapp'n's Boat Tours
Produce crops can also be found while exploring mysterious islands that you come across in Kapp'n's Boat Tours! For a price of 1,000 Nook Miles, Kapp'n can take you to islands that you've never seen before.

How to Grow Carrots
Grow your carrots by selecting carrot starts in your inventory and choosing to “Plant 1”.
You can also choose to dig a hole in the ground with your shovel and bury a carrot!

Once planted, carrots will take a total of 4 Days to fully grow and be harvested.

Tending your crops daily with a watering can will give you more crops when it comes to harvesting! Although your crops will still grow regardless, why say no to a few hundred (or more!) Bells?

Carrots are used as a produce crop to make delicious Food DIY Recipes with.

Carrots actually sell for more than their starts cost at 350 Bells a piece. Check how much you can earn from harvesting Carrots with our profit calculation below!

Use as Decorations
You can place Carrots to decorate on your island! However, leaving too many of the on the ground could lower your island rating.
You can place them on top of furniture, such as tables and shelves to avoid this!
How to Raise Your Island Star Rating
Eat for Stamina Points
Eating carrots, much like you can with fruits, turnips, mushrooms, and bamboo shoots, can get you up to 10 points of stamina that allows you to things you cannot normally do in the game.

Carrots can be bought at Leif's Garden Shop for 280 Bells or found in mysterious islands during Kapp'n's boat tours. When harvested, Carrots can be sold for 350 Bells.
