Does anyone know of a way to progress through this game without turning the island into a city? I've always wanted to keep my island kinds deserted, but still have all the features of the game. A "wild mode" DLC would be really cool.

Who is your favorite villager? Mine is Isabelle. First, because I believe she represents strong and independent women. That's a message that I'm glad is becoming more prominent in games and media. Second, because her positive attitude matches mine, or at least what I hope mine can be.

If you prefer playing alone, it's better to not have one. And you won't need it if you have a friend who can play local multiplayer with you.

It all depends on what kind of gamer you are. You can play this game casually or play it religiously. If you're detail-oriented and love customizing characters, maps, and etc, you'll probably forget about your real life. But if you have many bigger fish to fry in real life, you may want to reconsider getting this game in the first place.

You get random villagers, and only a set amount (probably 10) can live on your island at a time You can customize your own char though!
