Niko is part of the three coworkers you'll hang around with as part of the Paradise Planning team! His role in the team is to ferry you around from one island to another in the archipelago.
Niko will also give a lecture at the school to teach you about counters and pillars, after which he'll start giving DIY Recipes for them in return for Materials!
Niko is responsible for transporting you to a vacationer's home and he could often be found in the pier, ready to ferry you a villager's home!
Niko will also take a more hands-on approach from time to time, explaining to you how certain design skills such as pillars and counters work when you encounter them!

You can visit Niko anytime by going to the pier, where he can often be found waiting and ready to take you to a vacation home!
Niko can often be found at the HHP pier but in the rare moments where he isn't, try talking to Lottie.
She might tell you that he's in the second-floor employees-only break room, where he's waiting for you to talk about DIY Recipes!
