    So I want to know if I will get a new chance at the recipe after losing the present if the game didn’t realize I lost it? I think it was a glitch but it hit the ground and disappeared and my character wasn’t shocked. What do I do if I never get the recipe now??

    Just an FYI, if you end up losing your golden balloon present in water/ground clutter, the game will continue to spawn more golden balloons randomly until you get the DIY recipe. My wife had this happen, and she got another golden balloon 3 days later.
