Don't forget that a rare Gold Nugget is required to make a Golden Net. Make sure you know how to get your hands on one of these first before trying to craft the Golden Net.

Unlike previous games in the series, it's been confirmed that Golden Tools can break. This hasn't been confirmed currently for the Golden Net, but as the Golden Axe and Golden Shovel were confirmed to break after about 100-200 uses, it's likely that the Golden Net will break after a similar number of uses.
There doesn't seem to be any additional effects for using the Golden Net. As no special effects have been confirmed for any of the Golden Tools, it's assumed that this is consistent for the Golden Net. Due to the difficult process needed to obtain it, we can't recommend seeking out the Golden Net for its own sake, but it does look flashy!
