After you click nook shopping go down to where it says “this catalog contains furniture you’ve obtained” with the leaf logo and it should be in there.
Did you look under "s" for simple panels? It should be there.
Maybe I just need to get back to life...
I've gone to "Nook Miles" and "Nook Shopping" but no panels.

Ok. Looks like you’re new ( I am fairly but did lots of hours during the lock down). Want to visit my Island? I think I can help progress.
Go to the nook stop terminal in resident services, there you can order up to 5 panels a day and you will get them in the mail the following day. There is no DIY for simple panels.
I'm not very good at this and my island kind of sucks a little but I love it cause it's all I got.
