Kat/Lilly - i usually give them wrapped clothing items i want them to wear and wrapped fruit. i also give some higher-value items like golden candlesticks/golden dung beetle/furniture that matches their decor/display items...

Kat - i have given furniture & they do display it (all except Chadder-rotten lil boy!). be careful about letting them have items in ur pockets - darned if they don't display that too!

Mira was a starting villager for me, and when she moved out I thought about trying to get her to come back. saw her house and NOPED out
???? none of my villagers have EVER talked about a profession... i must have just gotten a bunch of lay-abouts... :-(
Elias, I’ve set aside several items that were on your wishlist. Do you still need the following: Blue and Green Champion’s pennants, snapping turtle model, black den chair, centipede model, black candle, and black double sofa?
Speaking of gifting to villagers, I just found out that my starter villagers don’t have the houses they would have if they weren’t my first 5. I read that even if I gift them the right furniture they won’t display it. So wasn’t sure if I should waste bells on it. Does anyone know if that’s accurate? Also, their personality is stripped a bit. They don’t ever talk about the profession they want.
