After collecting 5 bugs or fish for Tom Nook, he will invite his friend Blathers to come to the island. Tom Nook will task you with setting up the plot for a Museum, upon which Blathers will arrive at your island!

You can visit Blathers at any time of the day in the Museum. Take note, he's most definitely a night owl and will have to be woken up first if you talk to him before night time!

Blathers is a brown owl introduced in Dobotsu no Mori (Animal Forest). He visits the player's island as a favor to Tom Nook and is put in charge of opening the Museum, where players can donate bugs, fish, and artworks!
