What is the Swimming in River and Ponds Glitch?

Players have discovered a bug that allows you to swim in rivers. The glitch uses a ladder, small furniture item, and a cliff to perform.

The bug also allows player to glitch inside of furniture, like the Cypress Bathtub!

Take note that this is a glitch not intended by the developers and may be taken out in future updates.

How to Swim in River and Ponds

Steps to Swim in River and Ponds

Step	Directions
1	Create a cliff big enough for your bath or pool. Push the small item as close to edge as possible.
2	Climb the wall on its diagonal edge. When you're done you should be standing on the small item.
3	Run over to the bath or pool and unwind!

How to Get Out of Baths and Pools

Walk Out

In some set-ups, you'll can just walk out of bath! Just make sure there's a path for you to walk out onto!

Pick Up Item

Press the Y Button to pick up the item. You'll be able to move freely again!

Use Rescue Services

Use your NookPhone and call *Rescue Services! You'll be taken out of your bath and dropped off anywhere you want on the island!

*Note: Using Rescue Service will cost 100 Nook Points

Save and End

Press the - Button and click Save and End. When you start up the game again, you'll be able to move freely!
