The same thing happened to me, however, i went and picked up all my seashells and branches and when I checked again, i had a 5 star rating! Pretty cool!
I'm at a 3 and I have 2 of them
i got one with a 4 start rating, like the comment before me. I went to Isabelle and it's still at 4 stars, so im confused.
the lily apparently has a chance to spawn with a 4 star rating as well, i found one in my graveyard, i was excited in thinking i finally got my 5 star ranking, but no, i immediately ran to Isabelle and she informed me i was still only 4 star
