    I have not seen a single one... I'm searched my island every day, friends islands and even book mile islands!! I've never seen the cicada shell!!! And its time is almost up so....

    I didn't find one for the entirety of July. I am now in august. I literally found 3 golden stags and not a single cicada shell :(

    Undeniably the rarest bug in the game. You'll find dozens of the other "rarest" bugs before you find one of these. Still tracking this jerk down after more than 11 dedicated hours just spent on it.

    Nope they randomly appear on trees and don’t react when you run. Just run around your island and if you see one you can just run up and catch it
