You can find the Peacock Butterfly flying next to hybrid flowers from 4 AM to 7 PM.
Find it from March to June on the Northern Hemisphere, or from September to December on the Southern Hemisphere.

To catch a bug, you'll need to equip your net! Press the X Button to go into your pockets and select your net.
You can also select it from your Tool Ring!
You'll find the Peacock Butterfly flying in the air. Some bugs fly faster the others, so you may have to chase them down.
Once you're close enough, press the A Button to swing your net. You'll then be a proud owner of the Peacock Butterfly!
