I use my 2nd house for storing all the valuable fish & bugs, wait for CJ or Flick, u can make a small fortune doing that!!
Yeah, good point - probs best not to keep my wife's character in a tent! Ha ha! ;-) Yes, makes sense to upgrade for the storage rather than just having the tent decoration. I paid off my house last week, so all good there on the bells - been fortunate with my turnips! ;-)
Rhys - the absolute BEST thing about a 2nd character is that u get storage space in their house. i have all my seasonal stuff there and summer clothing... and it's fun decorating the 2nd house in a completely diff style! :-)
I worked with my 2nd, to get a bigger hse, which means more storage!!! If u go with a 2nd, I'm more than happy later to give u bells, ur 2nd character should be ur Wife ok :-)

Thanks K & Heather. It's amazing how quickly those spaces fill up hey! Might still do the second character - any drawbacks you have noticed? Can't think of any if not actually using it outside of a bit of extra Redd purchasing once a month... ;-)

I did that Rhys for the same reason, my 2nd character carries the same customs as me, unless I have done something wrong, don't think it works
Yeah you share the same slots and if the secondary account doesn't have Nintendo online, it won't be able to download patterns so have the switch account to add more design...

Hi gang, little question for you if I could.... If I add a second account to my Switch to add another character on my island (to be kept in a tent to flesh out campsite area), does that character come with a fresh set of custom design slots for the island, or do you still share the same number between you? I realise I have used a fair few of my spaces already! Yikes!
