NOOO!!! I DELETED MY GAME SAVE DATA FOR ACNH BECAUSE I WANTED TO START OVER BECAUSE I WANTED RAYMOND THE CAT AND RIGHT AFTER I CHANGED MY MIND AND NOW I CANT GET MY OLD ISLAND BACK????? ;^; I SPENT 260 HOURS ON THIS GAME! CAN I REALLY NOT GET IT BACK??????

Couldn't you just set it to backup your island in game(via Cloud) , then delete it from your system to start fresh with the option of going back to your original island if you ever felt the need? Youd obviously have to delete the new island you started in or to restore your old island but, in theory it could work. Im going to give it a try lol whats almost 300 hours on my current island anyway, right 😬😬🤦♂️🤷♂️
Yup I broke my switch and lost everything
Nintendo has had an Animal Crossing game for each console, since Game Cube.
Will moving one person’s save data to another console remove the island completely for another profile? Or will their save data stay?
Yeah but that doesnt mean requiring us to buy another Switch or another copy which is $60 BY THE WAY
I don't think they're ever going to change this. Nintendo wants as much money as possible from AC lol

Why do different account saves have to share an island? Why does a Switch console act as an "island?" Can someone please explain to me why it has to be this way?
