Nat is one of the returning Special Characters from previous games in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. You'll find him in the Happy Home Paradise archipelago after completing your 30th vacation home in the DLC.
Nat will give a lecture at the school to teach you how you can add bugs in vacation homes, which is one of the new design features introduced in the Happy Home Paradise DLC!

Nat will show up after you've completed your 30th client vacation home request. You'll find him wondering around the beach in the Archipelago once you do.
You can just talk to Nat and he'll ask you where the school is and after he'll teach you how you can add bugs in vacation homes while designing them!
How to Add Bugs in Vacation Homes
Nat will only appear after completing the 30th client vacation home request, so if he isn't showing up make sure that you've finished designing the 30th vacation home first before you panick!

Nat is a green chameleon originally introduced in Animal Crossing: City Folk. He used to host the Bug-Off Event in previous games before we were introduced to Flick in New Horizons.
