How to Glitch into Items | Place Items in Center of Tables Outside

Learn how to glitch inside of items with our step-by-step guide for Animal Crossing: New Horizons (ACNH). You can also use the glitch to place furniture in the center of larger items. Read on for more below!

What is the Glitch?

Players have discovered a bug that allows you to put items in the center of 2x2 tables outdoors by using the same glitch to Swim in Rivers.

The glitch can cause players to clip themselves inside of furniture to place small items in the center of tables outdoors!

Take note that this is a glitch not intended by the developers and may be taken out in future updates.

How to Glitch into Items

Steps to Glitch into Items

1. Create a Cliff

Build a cliff next to the table. This cliff should have a diagonal edge you can climb down on.

2. Push the Small Item

Push any small and flat item as close as you can to the wall's diagonal edge. Here are some common items you can use for this step:

3. Climb Down the Cliff

Climb down the cliff on its diagonal edge so you land on the small item. You should now be able to move through furniture!

Leave half a space in between the furniture you want to glitch into and the small item.

4. Reposition Yourself

Get as far to edge of the table without glitching out of it. Then, press the Down Button on the D-Pad to hide the ladder and reset your position.

5. Place the Item

Show off your decorating skills and place an item in the center of the table!
