    You can track them there's a few patterns that they seem to follow, Thursday and friday seem to give the best prices, and you can also use other sites like turnip.exchange to visit someone else's island with high prices

    I don't think it can be changed, just make sure you check the reddit boards for peoples turnip prices, you can usually get a decent price then :-)
