Get from the Recycle Box the Day After Helping Gulliver

After helping a washed-up Gulliver retrieve his Communicator Parts, you can find a Rusted Part in the Recycle Box found in the Resident Services the next day.

This method is not very efficient because you can only receive one Rusted Part at a time.

Hold Communicator Parts and Wait for the Next Day

The most efficient method!

Alternatively, you can choose to keep the communicator parts in your pockets and wait for the next day. The Communicator Parts will turn into Rusted Parts. This is the most efficient because you can get up to five at a time (Sorry Gulliver!).

Dig the Ground with a Shovel

You can very rarely find rusted parts by digging the ground on your island (not on the sandy beaches). This method is the least effective because of inefficiency and low probability of getting the parts.

Used to Craft Robot Hero

You need 30 communicator parts to craft a Robot Hero. It takes time to collect this material, so we recommend visiting the beach every day to check on Gulliver. The most efficient way to collect is to hold all 5 communicator parts and wait for the next day.
