I wonder if time traveling is actually encouraged by the game. I mean they actually give you something if you don't play the game for a month. Something most players wouldn't do willingly.
What if you go back in time? What will happen to your progress since this game is autosave?
Yes it is, however some people find that following the natural flow of things is the best way to enjoy animal crossing so use it as you own discrection.
