If someone leaves thru the airport it won’t cut anyone off. If somebody has connection issues, it’ll kick everyone off. And nothing saves. So everyone has to make sure they don’t lose signal or let their switch go to sleep or anything that will break connection
If you want to wait till later, I totes understand!
I don't mind waiting ( It's now my weekend) but if I go I might be a quick run. Did we figure out if someone leaves early if it resets everyone or is it only with connection issues? Don't want to speed run it and ruin anything. That's up to everyone else with what time works.

Ane, you would need Nintendo online. The only exception to be able visit someone’s island would be if you did local connection with someone who is there with you.
