yeah. the day the plot is empty and for sale, villagers will show up on Nook tours. and my plots only stay 'open' for a day before the game sells them to a random character.

I was suuper excited when I finally found Judy on a mystery island. Honestly with how long it took I probably should have just paid a crazy amount for her. lol. I hope the new villagers get amibos soon

Syd... Yes, someone on Etsy is selling her. Says I visit their island, talk to her and ask her to move to my island and then she will. It says an empty plot is needed tho so I'm not sure this will work for me being that I had my max of villagers and am trying to replace one.
yes - once Big Top leaves (the day after he is in boxes) u can invite a new villager to move in. the online sellers have the villagers in boxes ready for u to ask the character to move to ur island... that's how i got Raymonfd months ago...

If you have a villager in boxes or an empty plot, they'll move into that space. If you have a full island it lets you choose who to move out. So you'd be better going hunting on islands for a villager and then using the amiibo later to move out another villager if there's one you don't like

THAT's if u can buy the amiibo - Judy is one of the villagers u cannot buy the amiibo for but she is for sale online...
But if my island is full , I cant add any more plots to have an empty plot, right? Once Big Top leaves, his house will be empty. Is that the same thing as what you are saying?

you have to invite them camping 3 times, so you can invite anytime

OK, I decided I want to get Judy as my snooty character, I can buy her amibo card online but Q, do I have to wait until Big Top leaves before I can do this or will it screw it up if I try ir now, while he is still in boxes?
