You can pick up Summer Shells along the beach during the season of Summer. It is hard to miss because of its vibrant blue color.
List of Seasons and Seasonal DIY Items
Shells reappear on the beach every 30 minutes, so it is best that you visit the beach every now and then.
In our tests, a maximum of 16 shells re-appeared on the beach after 30 minutes or more.

Based on the results from the table above, we recommend checking the beach every hour or so. If you cannot wait, you can skip the time ahead for more shells to reappear.
If there are still no Summer Shells appearing on the beach, you can try picking up all the other shells that are there, so there is space for Summer Shells to appear.

When Isabelle announces the official start of Summer, she will send you the DIY recipe for the Shell Wreath.
Don't worry if you miss her announcement, though! You can still get it from balloon presents!

You can sell Summer Shells for 600 Bells. However, selling them as a Shell item is much more expensive, so if you'd like, you can sell those instead after you collect the Shell series.
