Complete Chapter 1 Act 6: Grand Warstorm Main Quest

To start Daybreak at Last, you'll need to have completed Chapter 1 Act 6: Grand Warstorm first. This is a fairly lengthy quest with Jiyan helping you out near the end.

Participate in Jiyan's Character Story

Wuthering Waves - Participate in Jiyan

Once you've completed Grand Warstorm, click Boat race in river to track Jiyan's Character Story, then head to the quest marker.

You'll be able to join the Jinzhou Riverside Games and cross paths with Jiyan again and play through his three-part companion story.

I haven't finished Act 6 yet so I can't check myself, but in Discord I've been told that the story is there even after the timer ended, and that the timer was actually counting down for the banner. I don't know why they would do that but the times line up
