How to Unlock Forking Paths Among the Stars
Find the Companion Story on the Quest Log
The companion quest for Camellya can be unlocked by logging in after updating your game to Patch 1.4 on November 14, 2024. You will find the quest on your Quest Log where you can track it.

Forking Paths Among the Stars Walkthrough
- Head to the Greenhouse
- Look for the Consultant
- Head to the Hall of Foreign Affairs
- Catch Up with Camellya
- Look for Lady Flora's items
- Head to the Modulation Hall
- Flower Seed Puzzles as Camellya
- Defeat the Death Incarnate
- Head to the Veiled Rock
Head to the Greenhouse
Once you have tracked the quest, go straight to the Greenhouse at the very top of Tethys Hub at the Black Shore. Take the series of stairs going up and head inside the building to trigger a cutscene with Camellya.
After the cutscene, you will be transported to Error Cell Sublevel 1 where you will need to talk to Beatrice in the middle of the room to progress the quest.
Look for the Consultant
After talking to Beatrice, head for the Energy Hub and talk to the Black Shores Consultant you can find sitting on a bench and trigger a cutscene.
If you have the Resonance Beacons unlocked, you can teleport to The Black Shores- Tethys' Deep beacon and head north to reach the location. If you do not have the Beacon unlocked, you can head outside the Error Cell to the west and cross the long bridge northwest heading towards Energy Hub.

Head to the Hall of Foreign Affairs
Once you have finished talking to the Consultant, teleport to the Tethys Hub resonance beacon at Black Shore Archipelago and talk to the Black Shore Member standing near the ledge to initiate another cutscene.
Catch Up with Camellya
Start following the red flowers that pop up on the ground which leads to the bottom of the stairs and catch up to Camellya to start a cutscene with her.
After talking with her, she will spawn some enemies and compete with you to see who eliminates more first. Defeat all enemies to progress further and start another cutscene.
Look for Lady Flora's Items
This challenge features a 40 second time limit while looking for Lady Flora's items so try to complete this as fast as possible. Make sure to ride the nearby Propulsion Flux and take the series of Grapple Points leading towards a cave where you can find your quest objective.
After finding the items, you will switch to Camellya's perspective and head for the same cave through a different path. Defeat the enemies along the way until you reach the Rover and fight alongside them to defeat all remaining enemies.
Head to the Modulation Hall
After the fight, talk to Camellya again and choose the Let's go option to teleport immediately to the Modulation Hall. Head for the middle of the room and talk to Beatrice to further progress the quest.
Flower Seed Puzzles as Camellya

| 1 |  Take the nearby Flower Seed, walk down the Blossom Path it creates, and insert the Flower Seed on the door to open it. |
| 2 |  Take the Flower Seed and head up the Blossom Path ramp and cross another Blossom Path to get the Standard Supply Chest on your left, then take the right path towards the door to reach the next area. |
| 3 |  Activate your Ephemeral skill to destroy the blocking thorns and progress forward. |
| 4 |  Defeat the nearby enemies to progress further. |

| 6 |  Cross another Blossom Path past the supply chest and destroy the thorns in front. Take the Standard Supply Chest, cross to the Spinning Platform and rotate once to make a Blossom Path towards the next area. |
| 7 |  Defeat the nearby enemies to reveal Lady Flora and approach her. Look for Lady Flora's Illusions and interact with them to progress further. |
| 8 |  Bring the Flower Seed, cross the Blossom Path forward, and destroy the thorns to your right. Move past and rotate the Spinning Platform once and cross to the other side to find a Standard Supply Chest. |
| 9 |  Cross the Blossom Path to the left of the supply chest and rotate the Spinning Platform once. Take the new Blossom Path that leads to an Advanced Supply Chest and the door to the final area. |
Defeat the Death Incarnate
Defeat the Stellar Matrix's Core: Death Incarnate to escape the stars and return to your timeline. Keep in mind that once you reduce half its health, a cutscene will take place and intiate a second phase with full health that you have to defeat together with the Rover and reward you with a Premium Supply Chest.
Head to the Veiled Rock
Head back to Beatrice at the Modulation Hall and deliver the Stellar Matrix to start the last objective of the quest. Once you find Camellya at the top of the Veiled Rock, take pictures with her to progress further and finally complete her companion quest.
