Chapter 1 Act 7 Thaw of Eons is the seventh Act of the Main Quest in Wuthering Waves. See how to unlock Thaw of Eons, its walkthrough, and all the rewards of this quest here!

A New Companion becomes available on your quest log after completing the prerequisite quest: Grand Warstorm. You can find the starting point at Jinzhou.
Chapter 1 Act 6 Grand Warstorm Quest Guide
Unlike previous main story quests, Chapter 1 Act 7: Thaw of Eons consists of 8 subquests. Each has its own set of walkthroughs and rewards.

 Fast travel to Jinzhou and find Chixia and Yanyan near Panhua's Restaurant. Talk to them to activate a cutscene to complete the quest and unlock the next one, Dreamy Scents. |

 Follow the yellow marker and take the elevator leading to the City Hall in Jinzhou. Enter the large door to head inside the City Hall. |

 Enter the Meeting Room and talk to Sanhua. |

 After watching the cutscene, follow the yellow marker and exit the City Hall to complete the quest. |
| To Mt. Firmament Walkthrough | |

 Fast travel to the Huanglong-Whining Aix's Mire Resonance Beacon south of Jinzhou to reach the yellow marker. |
| 2 |
 Follow the yellow marker that leads to a cliffside for a cutscene to activate. |
| 3 |
 Activate the circular mechanism nearby to use the Chronosorter. Press the left arrow button to move the slider to the left side to repair the bridge. |
| 4 |
 Follow the yellow marker until a group of enemies spawn at the area. Defeat the enemies once the quest objective changes to "Defeat the Fractsidus". After defeating the enemies, follow the yellow marker until you reach a bridge and a cave opening. |

 Switch to a character with a long-range weapon like Chixia and hit the 2 Photonvaults to disable the Photon Barrier. |

 Follow the yellow marker as you enter inside the cave to activate a cutscene. |
| 7 |
 Follow the yellow marker as you make your way through the open area. Make sure to activate the Resonance Nexus to unlock the portion of the map. |

 Follow the yellow Resonance Traces on the floor. The traces will eventually lead you to an open area with a group of enemies. Defeat them and find the end of the Resonance Traces near a pond on the east side. |

 Head to the pond and interact with the two vases in the middle of it to activate a hidden door behind the waterfall. |
| 10 |
 Switch to a character with a long-range weapon like Chixia and hit the 3 Photonvaults to disable the Photon Barrier. After disabling the Photon Barrier, enter the chamber to proceed with the next objective. |

 You can talk to named NPCs as Xinyi slowly walks to the destination to learn about the Hongzhen residents living inside the area. |

 Follow the yellow marker to exit the area. Once you are in the open area, you can use the Leap Device to quickly make your way to the Truthseeker's Pass without having to wade through the water. Reach the yellow marker for a cutscene to activate and to complete the quest. |
| Truthseeker's Pass Walkthrough | |

 The quest starts with a Photo Barrier puzzle that also combines the Chronosorter puzzle. Interact with the Chronosorter and press the left arrow button so that the large wheel is on the right side. This reveals the Tacetite Fulminate on the cliff above the wheel. |

 Climb up the cliff above the wheel and use the Levitator to grab the Tacetite Fulminate. Throw the Tacetite Fulminate on the wheel to break a portion of it. |

 Use the Chronosorter to move the wheel to the middle part. This allows you to shoot the three Photonvaults and disable the Photon Barrier. |

 Enter Truthseeker's Pass and defeat the TD holograms at the open area. |
| 5 |
 Activate the stone near the door for a cutscene to play. |
| 6 |
 Follow the yellow marker until the quest objective changes to "Inspect the CSC tome". From there, use the Grappling Hook to reach the yellow marker leading to a pile of papers on top of a crate. Inspect it to activate a cutscene. |

 After watching the cutscene, follow the yellow marker until reach a Chronosorter. Press the left arrow button until the arrow pointer is on the left side to solve the puzzle. |
| 8 |
 Use a character with a long range weapon like Chixia and hit the Photonvaults to disable the Photon Barrier. You can also use a plunging attack from a melee character to hit the Photonvaults. |

 After disabling the Photonvaults, follow the yellow marker into the new area. |
| 10 |
 Activate the stone in the room to progress the quest objective. |
| 11 |
 Walk towards the Carrier Lift in the middle of the area and select To the Lower Tier. |
| 12 |
 Once you reach the lower tier, find the stack of papers on top of a table on the right side of the area and inspect it. |
| 13 |
 Follow the yellow marker until you reach a point where a cutscene plays. Continue to follow the yellow marker until you reach a Photonvault and Chronosorter puzzles. |

  Use a character with a long range weapon like Chixia and hit the Photonvaults to disable the Photon Barrier. You need to hit the Photonvaults at a specific order to solve this puzzle. |
| 15 |
 After completing the Photonvault puzzle, activate the Chornosorter and press the left arrow button to move the arrow pointer towards the left side. |
| 16 |
 Approaching the third Flare Stone activates a boss fight with Lumiscale Construct: Severedge. Defeat it so that the third Flare Stone appears again. |

 After beating the boss, interact with the Flare Stone in the middle of the arena. |
| 18 |
 Follow the yellow marker to reach the Carrier Lift. Wait for the Carrier Lift to go to the upper floor on its own and then select "To the Upper Tier" when it appears. |

 Once you reach the upper tier, follow the yellow marker to enter the secret tunnel. Entering the secret tunnel completes the quest and automatically starts the next one, Road of Pilgrimage. |
Truthseeker's Pass Quest Guide

 Follow the yellow marker to reach the Central Chamber. |

 Pick up the Cipher Key to activate a cutscene. |

 Fast travel to the Huanglong-Mt. Firmament-Hongzhen Resonance Nexus to reach Hongzhen. Follow the yellow marker that leads you to Bing'ge. Follow him and enter the secret chamber. Leave the chamber after watching the cutscene. |

 Follow the yellow marker to reach to Mianloong Chamber. Make sure to activate the Resonance Nexus as you make your way to the chamber. Once you are inside the chamber, you can use the Grappling Hook to quickly move around. |
| 5 |
 Follow the yellow marker to activate a cutscene. This completes the Road of Pilgrimage main quest and unlocks the next one, Mianloong Chamber. |
Road of Pilgrimage Quest Guide

 Interact with the Chronosorter and press the left arrow button to move the arrow pointer to the left side to adjust the water level. Doing so reveals the lower floor of the chamber. |

 Follow the yellow marker to reach the first Flare Stone. Activate it to complete the quest objective. |

 Follow the yellow marker that will lead you to a group of enemies. Defeat them to progress to the next quest objective. |
| 4 |
 After defeating the enemies, the quest objective will change to "Check the file". Find the yellow glowing aura on the table and interact with it to activate a cutscene. |

 Interact with the nearby Chronosorter and press the right arrow button once to move the arrow pointer on the middle part to create floating platforms to reach the higher ground. |
| 6 |
 Use the Levitator tool to grab the Tacetite Fulminate and throw it towards the Fissured Ledge to destroy it. |

 Interact with the Chronosorter and press the right arrow button to move the arrow pointer to the right side. This allows you to reach the second Flare Stone. |

 Follow the yellow marker back to the previous area and interact with the Flare Stone. |
| 9 |
 Use the Levitator tool to grab the Tacetite Fulminate. Bring it over to the location of the yellow marker and throw it towards the Fissured Ledge. |
| 10 |
 Interact with the Chronosorter and press the left arrow button to move the arrow pointer to the left side. This lowers the water level, allowing you to reach the Photonvaults that you need to hit to disable the Photon Barrier with the third Flare Stone in it. |

  After lowering the water level, head down and turn left to find a group of enemies. Defeat them and interact with the yellow and black column to obtain the Corroder. Head towards the Photonvault surrounded with black spikes with the Corroder to destroy the spikes, allowing you to hit the Photonvault. |

 Use a character with a long range weapon to hit the second Photonvault near the Photon Barrier. Doing so disables the Photon Barrier but this also releases a Lightcrusher and two other enemies. Defeat them first and then activate the third Flare Stone. |

 Follow the yellow marker leading to the upper area of the chamber. This activates a cutscene that completes the quest and unlocks the next one, The Commander of Time. |
| The Commander of Time Walkthrough | |

 Use the Grappling Hook to reach the upper area to leave Mianloong Chamber. Once you reach the topmost green platform, a cutscene will automatically play. |

 After the cutscene, you will face Jue - Dweller in Dormant Time using Jinhsi as a trial Resonator. Use Jinhsi's Resonance Skill to deal a lot of damage to the boss. Take note of the boss' movements to time your dodges at the right time. |

 After defeating the boss, exit the portal to complete the main quest. |
The Commander of Time Quest Guide

 Follow the yellow marker leading to an area where you can ski to the finish line. Note that this is an optional objective that you can skip by fast traveling to Hongzhen. Use the Grappling Hook to launch yourself to the air to start skiing down the mountain. You can pass through the blue rings to move faster. Once you reach the finish line, follow the yellow marker to find a Leap Device that throws you directly to Hongzhen. Reach the yellow marker to finish the main quest. |
