Use the Projector to display or summon echoes on the field outside or during combat in Wuthering Waves (WuWa). See here to know how to use the Projector, how to detect hidden objects, and how to unlock it!
How to Use the Projector
Equip the Projector from the Utility Wheel
After equipping the Projector, tap on the Utility button to see a quick-access menu of the different Echoes that you can make a projection of. Select up to 8 Echoes to add to the menu.
Use the Projector to Display an Echo
Tap the Utility button to activate the Projector and summon an Echo to the field. You can use the Echo to Parry or block incoming enemy attacks during combat, or simply display an Echo outside of combat.
Block Attacks Using the Projector
You can block enemy attacks using the Projector by summoning an Echo and positioning yourself behind it. This is one way of blocking incoming attacks from enemies although it's much more recommended to perform Perfect Dodges!
How to Parry and Counterattack
Use the Projector to Detect Hidden Objects
WIth the introduction of Lahai-Roi, the projector finds itself having even more utility with the new Echoes providing additional effects on the overworld.
In the Lahai-Roi region, some objects are undetectable by the Sensor alone. You must have special Echoes projected to detect hidden objects.

In Lahai-Roi, there are currently four Special Echoes that affect the overworld. To activate their effects, ensure that you're standing near objects that they can interact with.
Mining Reindeer - Free Soliskins from Luxites
The Mining Reindeer's projection is able to sense Soliskin trapped under certain Luxites. Use the projector and summon the Echo, so it fires a laser beam that breaks the rock and frees the Soliskin.
Note that Luxites that contain Soliskins will have a green-yellow hue, compared to the regular blue Luxites.
Geospider S4 - Remove Lumiglow
The Geospider S4's projection can perform Lumiglow Revelation, flashing light in the Lumiglow-affected area and removing the Lumiglow. Once the process is completed, hidden objects inside the Lumiglow are revealed.
Zip Zap - Generate an Electric Shock
The Zip Zap projection releases an Electric Shock in the area, restoring energy to immobilized Spacetrek Explorers and re-energizing defective power lines.
Slow Start Trophy Guide - Spacetrek Explorer Locations
Glommoth - Shatter Ice Blocks
The Glommoth projection is able to shatter ice blocks in the Frostlands. Activate it near the area so it charges towards them. Some items may be hidden inside the ice blocks, like Chests and Soliskins!

Unlock the Projector after completing the Silver-Haried Echo Trainer side quest. Engaging the side quest also provides tutorials on how to use the Projector feature.
