Induction Cells and Transducer puzzles require the player to place an Induction Cell in a socket of the matching color.
When near an Induction Cell, the Levitator will automatically equip and begin to glow, and the player can press the appropriate button to pick up the cell.
The player can then take the cell to a slot that matches its color, and follow the button prompt to place the cell in the socket.
Some puzzles can require multiple Induction Cells to be placed in matching sockets in order to be solved.
Induction Cells and Transducer puzzles can sometimes present the player with a socket that doesn't match the cell's color. In this case, the Transducer is needed to change the color of the cell.
A Transducer can change a cell's colors between the displayed options. For example, in the above Transducer, a green cell becomes red, and a red cell becomes green.
Placing the Induction Cell in the Transducer will change its color. Once the player has done this, they can now match the color of the socket and place the cell inside.

Note that placing a cell in a socket that doesn't match its color will result in the cell popping out of the socket.
Induction Cells and Transducers may be needed to open a gate that is blocking a player's path. Clearing the puzzle can allow the player to progress further in their exploration.
Induction Cells and Transducers can also power machinery that may prove useful to the player once activated.
Both of the above can lead the player to loot, like Chests! Keep an eye out for these kinds of puzzles while exploring to get your hands on some rewards.
