The Convene Banners of Wuthering Waves have a built-in pity system that allows players to get rare weapons and Resonators without having to spend too much. See if there's a soft pity in the game, and what it has to let players get their desired characters in this guide!
List of Contents
Some gacha games feature a "soft pity" count where the chances of getting a 5-Star unit start increasing for the subsequent pulls.
It's still unconfirmed if Wuthering Waves has this same feature of hidden rate-ups, but if we're to base it on how Genshin Impact's pity system works, soft pity should start at around 60 pulls—20 pulls away from the specified "hard pity".
Wuthering Waves' pity system gives players a split chance to get the featured 5-Star Resonator at around 80 pulls in total.
As soon as a 5-star Resonator is obtained, the counter resets back to 0. It then increases again with the immediate next weapon or 4-star Resonator obtained.
If the 5-Star Resonator that was pulled was not the featured one, the next 5-Star Resonator within the next 80 or so pulls is guaranteed to be the featured one on the banner.
Unlike the Resonator Banner, all Featured Weapon banners will have the featured Weapon as their 5-star pull.
The Guaranteed rate is the same as the Resonators, with a cap of 80 pulls to get the featured 5-star weapon. The counter resets once the 5-star Weapon is obtained.
