How to Unlock Pulses of the Plains
Speak to Elowyn at the Etching Plains
You can start Pulses of the Plains by speaking to Elowyn southeast of the Etching Plains resonance beacon in Lahai-Roi.

Go to the Test Site North of the Resonance Beacon
Speak to Elowyn and she'll ask you to go to the test site, which is located north of the resonance beacon.
Solve the Smartprint Cube Puzzle
Speak to Elowyn and she'll ask you to solve a Smartprint Cube Puzzle. Approach the terminal and solve the puzzle to activate the tracks for the Expedition Motorcycle.
Race to the End of the Tracks
Activate your Expedition Motorcycle and jump on the tracks. Your goal is to reach the very end of the lane where Elowyn and Zahira are waiting within 01:40 time limit.
You'll need to jump across gaps as well as switch rails to avoid falling to reach the very end of the track.
Speak to Elowyn
Once you reach the end of the tracks, speak to Elowyn and she and Zahira will be pleased with your driving data which also ends the side quest.
