Shorekeeper Character Info
Hidden in the violent Stormy Sea, the Black Shores is an archipelago famous for its rich Tacetite deposits and as a sanctuary for talented individuals.
Black Shores is dedicated to fighting the destructive force known as the Lament. It cannot be accessed from just anywhere and will require invitation and guidance to get in.
At the core of the Black Shores is the Tethys System, a unique supercomputer. This system doesn’t have a visible power source and instead operates through complex coding accessed by autonomous robots. Its origin remains a mystery.
The Tethys System displays data as a stunning starry sky beneath the Black Shores. Anchors are strategically placed both above and below ground to keep the device stable . Thanks to these devices and underground hubs, this area is often called the "City of Eternal Night".
Inside the Tethys System lies the Necrostar, a black hole that consumes faulty data. It represents the end of discarded Matrices. Even the advanced science of Tacetite can't fully explain its nature, as everything is drawn into its gravitational pull.
The Necrostar symbolizes both destruction and the possibility of salvation, though its true purpose may be unclear.
There are two types of Black Shores Members: the Consultants and the Bloom Bearers.
Consultants are talented people from around the world are invited to join the Black Shores. They often travel to collaborate in different regions and work together to fight the threat of the Lament. One of these consultants is Aalto.
Bloom Bearers primarily focus on their duties within the Black Shores. They assist other nations in rebuilding their civilizations and occasionally look into the Waveworn Phenomenon in other lands. The upcoming character, Camellya, is one of these Bloom Bearers.
As a symbol of their membership, these individuals possess their own Blake Blooms.
